Private Chef Job Knutsford Cheshire – start ASAP - £45,000+
Our client is looking for an experienced Chef to take on a full-time permanent role in Knutsford Cheshire. This is a long-term role for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality, seasonal, home-cooked meals and who enjoys working in a calm, well-run environment.
You will be catering for the main resident principal and visiting guests and alongside the cooking, the chef will be responsible for all menu planning and provisioning and keeping the kitchen areas clean and kept to a high standard. Excellent presentation and attention to details required.
Candidates should live within an easy commutable distance from Knutsford and have previous experience in private household high-end hospitality. Candidates need to be confident with classic British and International cooking and be able to bring together seasonal menus.
The main structure of the role will be:
Weekdays
1. Breakfast to be prepared and served and around 8.30 am
2. Packed lunch to be freshly prepared each morning for the principal to take to the office
3. Evening meal to be served at around 7.00pm (normally one course)
4. Fridge filling to cover the chefs days off
Weekends
5. Hosting 1-2 guests for relaxed high-quality meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner as required (normally a 2 course dinner on a weekend)
6. Preparing a traditional Sunday Roast
Candidates should be flexible and adaptable to changes in the typical daily structure and be discreet, reliable, organised and able to work independently.
The working week will normally be 5/6 days including weekends when the client is in residence.
£45,000+ GPA DOE
