Are you looking for a new role? Our client is looking for an experienced and passionate CNC Turner to hit the ground running and join their well-established business!
CNC Turner Roles and Responsibilities:
* Previous experience in programming, setting and operating 2 axis turning machines
* Ability to write new CNC programs long hand at the machine
* Editing prewritten programs, the full machine setup including material, tooling, speeds, feeds
* Conduct in-process inspection using measuring equipment
* Producing one off, as well as low to medium volume precision parts in a range of hard and soft metals
* Excellent knowledge of 2 axis CNC machines, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances
* Good understanding of interpreting engineering drawings and standards
* Confident in working on parts up to ¢300mm x 3m in length, using lifting equipment
CNC Turner Ideal Candidate:
* Experience of Fanuc Combi 210i-T controls would be advantageous
* Experience with TIR 4 jaw work
* Experience in Screw cutting work/ threading work
* Possess a hands-on, quality driven, positive, self-motivated manner
* History within the manufacturing industry within a machine shop environment
CNC Turner Working Hours and Benefits:
* Monday – Wednesday 4.30pm – 3.30am, Thursday 4.30pm – 1.30am
* Holidays are 20 days + 8 Bank Holidays + Bonus holiday over the Christmas Period
