Technology Specialist
Full Time 37.5 hours per week
Location flexible across the Essex and South East area
The purpose of our Technology Specialist is to ensure RHCUK colleagues can access the
resources they need while protecting the IT services through managing the starters, leavers and mover's process. To provide effective and responsive technology support across all RHCUK, specifically on starters, leavers and movers. To maintain and improve technology services
available to all end users.
What you will do:
* Focus on identity management, including creating and amending user accounts
* Manage incidents and issues triaged to the Technology Service team through to resolution or an agreed resolver group.
* Resolve incidents and problems within agreed service levels
* Support and assist with planned projects and change
* Provide VIP service on request, ensuring designated staff receive timely and quality resolution
* Contribute to continual service improvement
* Provide out of hours major incident support
* This post carries on-call commitment and requires occasional late evening and weekend working
What you will bring:
* Experience in providing IT technical support within a multi-site, large organisation. This involves dealing with the customer base and critical backend infrastructure.
* Experience in creating and maintaining up to date procedures and technical documentation.
* Experience of being able to plan own work, deliver with limited direct supervision and changing priorities and workload.
Preferred Experience:
* Healthcare / Adjacent industry experience
Essential Education and Capabilities:
* Significant professional experience

* Degree level and ITIL/equivalent level accreditation
