We are dedicated to providing a flexible, reliable, and trustworthy service to parents and children, with a reputation built over more than 20 years for excellent childcare in bright, stimulating environments.*Summary*We are seeking a dedicated Room Leader to join our team at Paper Moon Nurseries in Compton Acres and Gamston. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our nurseries and maintaining our high standards of care. The Shift Leader will play a key part in supporting our staff and delivering exceptional service to families.*Responsibilities** Oversee daily nursery operations during your shift, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.* Lead and support nursery staff, fostering teamwork and professional development.* Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management to ensure clarity and consistency.* Implement company policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.* Assist in planning activities that promote early childhood development.* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance.* Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly followed.* Support new staff onboarding and ongoing training initiatives.* *Qualifications** Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting.* Strong communication skills in English.* Experience working directly with children and understanding early childhood education principles.* Valid driving license is preferred but not essential.* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Passionate about providing high-quality childcare.* Flexibility to adapt to changing needs of the nursery environment.* *Call-To-Action*If you are passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives and thrive in a leadership role within a supportive team, we encourage you to bring your enthusiasm to Paper Moon Nurseries.
