As a Room Leader, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and engaging environment for the children in your care. You will be responsible for leading your team in delivering high-quality childcare in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements. Your day-to-day duties will include: Supervising and guiding staff members, providing support and mentoring. Planning and implementing an exciting curriculum that caters to children’s individual learning needs. Building strong relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child's progress, and engaging them in their child's learning journey. Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Contributing to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration. Requirements Requirements for the Room Leader position include: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Proven experience working in a nursery or childcare setting, particularly with children aged 0-5 years. Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and health and safety regulations.
