ROLE
As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of audit clients across different industries, ranging from large PLCs to smaller SMEs. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing and overseeing a portfolio of audit clients, ensuring compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP standards.
- Preparing accounts and corporation tax computations/returns for limited companies.
- Ensuring compliance with tax and VAT regulations, UK law, and principles of good governance.
- Providing practical advice on regulatory matters.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, fostering long‑term partnerships.
- Delivering on revenue and profitability targets for your portfolio.
- Supporting workflow planning and team management, mentoring junior staff to develop their skills.
- Supporting local partners with ad hoc duties as required.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of audit services.
- Contributing to the firm's growth by fostering a high-performance culture within your team.
PERSON
For this Audit Manager position, we are looking for a qualified audit professional with:
- ACA/ACCA/CA or equivalent qualification.
- A strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Experience auditing clients across a variety of industries, from SMEs to larger corporations.
- Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and deliver results.Experience mentoring and coaching junior team members.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a client‑focused approach.
