We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic individual to join our Department of Medical Photography on our Trust Bank.
We are a busy team, providing a comprehensive high-quality photography and video service to the Trust. The workload is very varied, involving all aspects of clinical and non-clinical photography, video and graphic design. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to be a good all-rounder and team player, with the strong desire to develop their knowledge and skills.
Please note, you will need to attend interview with a portfolio.
Main duties of the job
To work without supervision to perform high quality advanced technical and scientific activities in a diverse range of specialist procedures, including complex and non-routine clinical imaging, video production and ophthalmic imaging, general photography and multi media design.
To work autonomously within the level of responsibilities outlined.
Rotational lead for Clinical Photography specialist areas: Skin Oncology, Ophthalmic, Diabetic Foot MDT, Bereavement and Remembrance services.

Qualifications
Essential
1. BSc in Medical Photography & Illustration plus AHCS Registered Medical Illustration Practitioner
2. Relevant Media / Photography degree plus Postgraduate Certificate or MSc in Medical Photography & Illustration plus AHCS Registered Medical Illustration Practitioner
3. Recognised equivalent legacy qualifications plus AHCS Registered Medical Illustration Practitioner
Knowledge
Essential
4. Significant proven practical and recent experience, post qualification, over the whole range of the Medical Illustration discipline, with underpinning post-graduate academic courses and governance knowledge.
