Charity Fundraiser role at The Fundraising Partnership, representing Childrens Hospice South West (CHSW).
What is the job?
The role is fundraising as a 3rd party agent, employed by The Fundraising Partnership, representing and fundraising on behalf of CHSW. Your job will be to find more people to support us with a small regular donation by talking to local people at their homes and encouraging them to become regular supporters via the CHSW Lottery programme.
What you will do
* Talk to local people at their homes, explain what CHSW does, and invite them to become regular supporters via the CHSW Lottery programme.
What to expect
* Salary enhanced by a commission with full-time and part-time options; travel costs payment included.
* Full training delivered via a home study course with ongoing support and coaching in the field.
* Typically within 30 minutes of your home; you will need a car.
* OTE (on-target earnings) with full-time around £30–£40k per year.
* Work patterns may include flexible hours, with a consideration for family and personal commitments.
Requirements and details
* Reasonably mobile and physically fit and active.
* Ethical and pride in doing a job the right way; integrity and self-motivation.
* Interpersonal skills, good listener, and effective communicator (not required to be highly persuasive).
* All types of people from diverse backgrounds can be successful in this role.
* Car required; typically within 30 minutes of home.
About CHSW
Childrens Hospice South West (CHSW) helps and supports children, young people and their families living with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions. CHSW provides care free to families and operates three hospices in the South West as well as community outreach. The charity relies on voluntary contributions to fund its services.
