Our client is a category leader in manufacturing, committed to manufacturing excellence. Through innovation and investment, their product range is second to none! With excellent business potential, they are seeking a Site Project Engineer to work at a prestigious manufacturing facility in Nottinghamshire.
Your focus will be on packaging-biased projects.
Key Responsibilities – Site Project Engineer - Manufacturing
* Lead and improve various processes daily, challenging yourself continually.
* Manage planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
* Handle supplier selection, financial control, and customer acceptance.
* Own factory equipment including packaging, processing, and utilities.
* Report directly to the Project Engineering Manager with full autonomy to deliver pragmatic, value-engineered projects within cost and time specifications.
* Coach, mentor, and develop multi-functional teams of engineers and designers/contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
* Lead engineering and production teams during equipment installation and start-up, including supplier selection, URS, feasibility and justification analysis, and equipment commissioning.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Graduate-calibre engineer with mechanical, chemical, or electrical bias.
* Experience within complex process manufacturing preferred.
* Methodical and detail-oriented work style.
* Background in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering, ideally in a regulated, high-volume manufacturing environment.
* Experience developing technical engineering solutions in automated environments.
* Open to industry backgrounds, as long as the experience involves complex, time-sensitive manufacturing projects.
