What we are looking for
Our Green Energy business unit is growing in line with our strategy and will be a fundamental part of the next generation of life at Bethell. We have been awarded more large scale and unique projects, and so we need to grow our team to compliment the workload. We now require an Electrician to add to our growing workforce, with commercial & industrial installation experience, a broad knowledge of inspection & testing, and experience in EV installations & renewable energy.
About you
As our new Electrician, you will be efficient with interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications. You will be able to assemble and install electrical components using hand and power tools. Your responsibilities will also include the installation and commissioning of electrical systems to current BS wiring regulations, Inspection, test and commission of new installations and ensure all work complies with health & safety standards and regulations. You will have a good working knowledge of commercial & industrial electrical installations, EV Chargepoint Installations and the relevant trade disciplines.
The candidate should be driven, have at least one years' experience of undertaking a similar role within the electrical industry, ideally within the commercial and industrial sectors. A broad knowledge of detailed wiring systems is ideal. The preferred candidate must have NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical installations (18th Edition) and have an ECS Gold Card. Experience of working with EV Charging Equipment & containment systems are desirable whilst not essential. The preferred candidate must be competent in Inspection, Testing & Certification of new installations, ideally holding the 2391 qualification.
You may be expected to travel and work away from home 3 to 4 days at a time or nights when required, therefore you are required to hold a full clean driver's licence
