The role Working within the Operations group, a Technician plays a key role in the manufacture of our graphene-based products, whether that's being involved in our Front End of Line (FEOL), Back End of Line (BEOL) or Photolithography. Operating high tech semiconductor processing and/or test equipment, our technicians ensure that we continue to produce high quality products for our growing customer base. We're looking to grow our production teams and actively on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals with a background in any manufacturing environment who are wanting a new challenge in a high tech industry, while making a difference in the electronics/ semiconductor space. Tasks The handling of semiconductor wafers. The inspection and imaging of semiconductor wafers and devices. Collect and record data to validate our products against test specifications. Operate mechanical and electrical test systems. Monitor all processes to help prevent or identify equipment malfunction. Maintain & support the optimisation of equipment processes through evidential led means. Working with senior colleagues across departments, assist in trouble shooting problems and to help develop process improvements. Succinctly report and record results using our bespoke software. Requirements Education and Qualifications HNC/HND or equivalent Experience Proven experience of hands-on approach to tasks & problem solving Background and experience in high tech manufacturing Experience of working in a manufacturing facility with R&D/Lab experience desirable Skills and knowledge Diligent and methodical approach to work with a focus on completing tasks efficiently and effectively. Ability to prioritise tasks and workloads across projects. Communication Ability to communicate at all levels with both internal and external contacts. Ability to present information clearly and appropriately for the audience. Additional factors Respect and adherence to confidentiality and critical matters.
