We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Humanities Teacher to join our team from December, teaching History and Geography to students in an alternative provision setting. This role is 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays), from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and structured Humanities lessons to students with a focus on History and Geography, including those studying at GCSE level. Confidence and experience in delivering lessons that meet the GCSE curriculum is essential, as you will be leading GCSE classes.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of young people in an alternative provision environment, working with students who may exhibit challenging behaviour. A calm, empathetic, and consistent approach is essential.
Ideal Candidate:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
* Experience teaching History and/or Geography to GCSE level
* Previous experience working with students with behavioural needs is highly desirable
* Strong classroom management skills
* Adaptable, patient, and passionate about inclusive education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
