SEN Teaching Assistant - TewkesburyMainstream Primary School
Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), especially those with challenging behaviour? Academics Ltd is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming, inclusive primary school in Tewkesbury.
In this role, you will assist the Key Stage 1 teacher, providing 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN, helping them engage in lessons and manage behaviour in a positive way.
Role Details:
* Tewkesbury, Mainstream Primary School
* Start Date: ASAP
* Salary: £85 - £100 per day
* Hours: Full-time, Term-time only
* Clear DBS: Required (or willingness to apply)

Key Responsibilities:
* Support children with challenging behaviour and SEN in KS1
* Help implement positive behaviour management strategies
* Assist with classroom tasks, adapting to the needs of individual children
* Work closely with the teacher and SENCO to meet the needs of each child

* Experience or passion for working with children with SEN and challenging behaviour
* A proactive, patient, and flexible approach
* Previous experience or qualifications are preferred but not essential
