Job Title: General Teaching Assistant (Primary Schools)
Location: Wirral, Merseyside
Salary: GBP105-GBP115 per day
Job Type: Full-time / Temporary / Contract
Start Date: ASAP / September 2025
Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
* Provide 1:1 and small group support where required.
* Assist with activities in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects.
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
* Help with classroom preparation, organisation, and displays.
* Support pupils with additional needs when necessary.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Good communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
* A genuine interest in helping children learn and develop.
