A small friendly business in Shepton Mallet are looking for a Senior Finance Administrator to join their passionate, forward-thinking team.
Your new role
You will work together with the Finance Manager and team to ensure the Finance Department runs smoothly and professionally - offering an excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.The successful candidate will befortable with;
1. Balance Sheet
2. Accruals
3. Prepayments
4. Journals
5. Fixed Assets including depreciation
6. VAT C79 forms (including deferment account)
7. Bank - posting & reconciliation
8. Credit Control including dealing with queries
9. Whole purchase ledger process from receiving invoices to payment and filing
10. Month End reporting
What you'll need to succeed
11. Hold an AAT qualification and two years finance experience (preferred)
12. Experience of using Sage 50 or a similar application
13. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
14. Flexibility and team player
15. Able to remain calm under pressure and solve problems
