Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roofing Sales Representative to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting roofing assessments and closing sales for residential and commercial roofing projects. This role combines field work with customer relationship management to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the someone with the right mindset and willingness to succeed. Someone who can bring fresh ideas and sales techniques to the table. Initially, you'll be working closely with the Director before taking full ownership of selling Kempton's service offering.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend pre-qualified leads from our extensive marketing
* Conduct comprehensive roof inspections and damage assessments
* Prepare detailed estimates and proposals for roofing projects
* Present solutions to homeowners and property managers
* Close sales to meet monthly and quarterly targets
* Works closely with office sales function
Customer Relations
* Build rapport with potential customers and establish trust
* Educate clients on roofing materials, installation processes, and maintenance
* Address customer concerns and objections professionally
* Coordinate with operations team to ensure smooth project handoffs
* Provide ongoing communication throughout the sales process
Technical Knowledge
* Assess roof conditions and identify repair or replacement needs
* Understand different roofing materials, systems, and installation methods
* Stay current on building codes, permits, and local regulations
* Photograph and document property conditions for proposals
Experience & Skills
* Minimum 2 years of sales experience, either in roofing or construction
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
* Strong presentation and communication skills
* Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
* Valid driver's license with clean driving record
* Basic computer skills
Compensation & Benefits
* Base salary range of £30-35k plus uncapped commission structure
* Competitive commission rates with performance bonuses – potential for £60k earnings
