Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Friday

About the School
This Pupil Referral Unit PRU provides education for students aged 5 to 16 years who are unable to attend mainstream school. The centre supports a small cohort of approximately 35 to 36 pupils. Rated Good in all areas by Ofsted, the school offers a tailored, nurturing environment to meet the diverse needs of its learners.
What We Are Looking For
* A qualified Primary Teacher with experience working in SEN or SEMH settings
* Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Confidence in planning and delivering differentiated lessons across the primary curriculum
* A creative, hands on approach to engaging and inspiring learners
* An understanding of trauma informed practice and supporting disengaged students
Essential Requirements
* QTS or QTLS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
* At least 1 year of experience teaching students with SEN or SEMH
* A valid Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Workforce registered on the Update Service
* Two recent professional references ideally from an education setting
