There is high demand for general classroom cover in the Newcastle and North Tyneside area.
This role involves covering a range of lessons and interacting with students across KS3 and KS4. You may also have the opportunity to cover lessons where you can provide academic support.
Your main responsibility is to oversee classroom productivity and behaviour. You will not be required to plan lessons or mark work, only to deliver preset work.
This role can be full-time, part-time, or flexible. No prior experience is necessary, as we provide a training day at one of our partner schools. This involves shadowing an experienced staff member and gaining the skills needed for success in this role.
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK
* Ability to apply for or possess a DBS check
* Passion for teaching and learning
* Confidence in front of large groups

Pay rates include statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles in the future.
