Large Private Estate – Sussex
Seeking an experienced and motivated Groundsman / Gardener to join the team on a large, well-established private estate in Sussex.This is a full-time, permanent position offering excellent pay and conditions within a professional yet friendly estate environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day maintenance of estate grounds and gardens
* Grass cutting, strimming, and general lawn care
* Hedge cutting and pruning
* Fencing repairs and general estate maintenance
* Seasonal gardening and planting duties
* Operation and basic maintenance of estate machinery and tools
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in grounds maintenance, gardening, or estate work preferred
* Tractor driving experience is an advantage but not essential
* Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
* Reliable, conscientious, and takes pride in high standards of work
