Employment Solicitor – West Midlands
Location: West Midlands (Birmingham, Wolverhampton, or surrounding areas)
Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 DOE

The Opportunity
A well-regarded law firm in the West Midlands is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join their established legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for employment law to develop their career within a supportive and growing firm that advises both employers and employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advising clients on a full spectrum of employment law matters (contentious and non-contentious)
* Handling a varied caseload including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and breach of contract claims
* Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and settlement negotiations
* Drafting employment contracts, staff handbooks, and company policies
* Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures
* Working closely with HR professionals, business owners, and senior employees
* Keeping up to date with employment legislation and regulatory developments
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
* Minimum 5 years' PQE in employment law (more senior candidates also encouraged to apply)
* Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-care skills
* Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Experience advising both employers and employees is advantageous
