This is a truly unique role for an Experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Industrial Manufacturing. As part of the Senior Leadership team, you will truly have full responsibility for the dynamic engineering department of a flagship facility of a global manufacturer. Role Description
* Focus on Health & Safety methods in manufacturing areas, driving improvements and continuously working on best practices
* Effective and regular communication with staff and peers to maximise manufacturing efficiency
* Supporting direct reports to ensure safe and efficient practices
* Implement or developing robust training programs
* Oversee apprenticeship programs offering the best training and coaching
* Develop methodology to measure engineering performance
* Full responsibility for departmental spend on resources (projects, labour, materials, capital equipment)
* Real time performance measurements
* Overseeing and developing a CMMS to deliver analytics
* Ongoing coaching and development of staff for Continuous Improvement
Skills and Qualifications
* Minimum 5 Years manufacturing experience within an engineering leadership role
* Track record of successfully managing and developing teams and individuals
* Experience in developing a robust Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Experience in applying CI / Lean principles in a manufacturing setting
* Project Management experience
* IOSH: Managing Safely qualification / Occupational Health & Safety qualification (Preferred)
