1:1 Tutor – Northampton Area
Teaching Personnel Tutor is currently seeking experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Northampton area within home and school settings during school hours.
This role is ideal for qualified educators and experienced tutors who are passionate about helping pupils achieve their academic potential through personalised learning support.
Role Details
* Location: Northampton and surrounding areas
* Setting: Pupils’ homes or school settings
* Hours: During school hours
* Pay Rate: Competitive hourly rate
* Subjects: English, Maths, Science, and other core subjects
* Age Groups: Primary and Secondary pupils
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and tailored 1:1 tuition sessions
* Adapt lessons according to pupils’ individual learning needs and abilities
* Monitor and report on student progress
* Build positive relationships with schools, parents, and pupils
* Encourage student confidence, engagement, and attainment
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience within the UK education sector
* Strong curriculum knowledge
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* Ability to work independently and professionally
* Right to work in the UK
