Due to continued growth, my client who is a leading PSV operator in the Southeast requires a HGV Technician to join their new workshop based in Gravesend, Kent. The successful HGVTechnician will work Monday to Friday, develop their skillset by attending annual training courses and after a successful probation period, join the call out rota providing their customers with 24/7 call out cover, in return, you will receive an attractive starting salary and receive additional payments.

HGV Technician Responsibilities:
Carry out servicing, maintenance, in depth fault finding and repairs on large fleet of vehicles 3.5 ton up to 44 ton.
Perform routine maintenance and mechanic work on vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify issues.
Carry out Pre-mot checks and complete mot testing on vehicles.
Ensure all work is documented and health & safety procedures are followed and adhered to.
Provide exceptional customer service.
HGV Technician Requirements:
The successful candidates must have an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering with a proven background in a similar role.
Experience working on HGV/LGV or PSV vehicles is essential.
Auto electrics knowledge for fault diagnosis and rectification.
Holding a current HGV/LGV or O Licence.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Must be flexible on working hours to suit business needs, including joining an on-call rota
