Embark on a fulfilling journey with our Support and Safeguarding Service as a Senior Family Key Worker, playing a crucial role in supporting the most vulnerable children in Wiltshire. We're dedicated to reshaping young futures through collaborative partnerships, offering high-quality, efficient, and effective social work services. Our mission is to prevent family breakdowns, reducing the necessity for intensive statutory services, and implementing a family and relationship based approach to empower children and families toward positive outcomes.
As a Senior Family Key Worker, you will effectively support complex and challenging families to achieve positive outcomes and promote local frontline collaborative efforts. The position includes being responsible, in conjunction with Support ATM, in allocating cases to FKW's following LCS procedures. Ensuring assessments are progressing, with support and guidance being provided to Keyworkers you supervise. Monitoring the support service desktop and actioning tasks when needed, offering you a chance to enhance your management skills.
For success in this role, a degree or equivalent extensive experience is required, along with an NVQ Level 4 (or equivalent/higher) in fields like health, social care, early years, or adult education. Your track record should demonstrate prior experience in enhancing outcomes for children and families, coupled with evidence of ongoing professional development.
