Their focus areas include industrial heat recovery and air pollution control. Based in the Northwest of England, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service Sales Manager to drive service-based sales and contribute to our clients growth strategy. The Role: The Service Sales Manager is a key role for an experienced technical sales professional with a successful history in service-based sales and a solid technical background in industrial burner systems, LEV systems, HVAC, or mechanical engineering solutions. Example of Responsibilities: Lead the expansion of service-based sales across the UK and Ireland, achieving or exceeding annual revenue and profit targets. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through proactive communication, site visits, and responsive support. Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and cost analyses while providing technical and commercial input during tendering, negotiation, and project delivery. Identify and develop new market opportunities, service offerings, and customer segments to support business growth. Work closely with the Service Manager, Managing Director, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal engineers to ensure effective service delivery and performance. Support service forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning activities, while monitoring competitor activity and contributing to continuous business improvement. Required Skills/Experience: A strong track record in service-based technical engineering sales is essential Experience with burner systems, LEV systems, HVAC, pump systems, or other mechanical systems is highly advantageous. Knowledge of systems such as thermal oxidisers, LEL systems, and process air handling would be beneficial however not essential. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organisational abilities.
