The Opportunity & School Profile This Outstanding academy, part of a supportive Multi-Academy Trust, requires a Facilities Manager who is committed to operational excellence. Core Responsibilities & Facilities Scope Team Management: Direct line management of the Caretaking and Site Assistant teams, including performance management and scheduling. Compliance & Safety: Responsibility for all statutory checks, preventative maintenance programmes, and managing the school's relationship with the local authority regarding premises. Lettings & Usage: Overseeing the logistical planning and security aspects related to evening and weekend community use and lettings. Compensation & Benefits Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (52 weeks per year). Salary Range: £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, depending on experience. Essential Requirements: Relevant facilities management qualification (e.g., BIFM/IWFM) and extensive experience managing a large school site.
