London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) is a dedicated institution specialising in business management, creative business and leadership & management programmes, where we foster the entrepreneurial spirit in our students!
With LCCA’s pedagogic approach to experiential blended learning, coupled with our broad network of industry connections and aided by our association with University of the Creative Arts (UCA) including, various well-established industry brands, we empower our students get a real-world learning experience by working within the business world or creative industries and shaping a career in the sector.
At the very heart of our vision is a student-centred learning and teaching methodology which is progressive, forward-thinking, modern, and designed to meet our learners’ needs.
LCCA courses are unique in that, they may be taught across the week (in the day); in two evenings in the week and at the weekend and follow a blended learning approach. We currently have full-time and part-time, evenings and weekend-only opportunities available that can be discussed at the interview to match against your preference and lifestyle!

Position: Lecturer - various positions available within the fields of

Social Sciences
Art, Fashion and Graphic Design
Contract Type: Permanent; full time and part-time positions available. We operate on a flexible model of working which allows for flexible working across the seven days, which suits you and us as an organisation!
Location: Tower Hill and Aldgate
At LCCA, we’ve had huge uptake in student numbers and this demand had led us to adopt a 7- day operational model of working. As such, we’re looking for lecturers across a range of modes – daytime, evenings, and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays). We are more than happy to consider working patterns to suit individual needs.
Requirements
* Applies an inquiring, innovative and reflexive approach to teaching
* Considers equality, diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of teaching practice
* Shows commitment to understanding the range of students’ experiences within a course
* Ability to motivate and work in a collaborative way with staff and students
* Demonstrate, promote and facilitate collaborative ways of working across the organisation
* Ability to design and deliver units of study that introduce and develop the complex range of theoretical and practical concerns of the discipline
* Demonstrate an understanding of assessment practice including how to assess the work and progress of students and provide constructive, developmental and challenging feedback
* Demonstrate relevant professional networks and relationships that bring expert external knowledge to student learning, employment and enterprise • Effectively plan and manage workload, prioritising work to meet deadlines and achieve personal, team and course objectives
