Availability Window: Days and times vary. Typical availability includes Sun 09:00–19:00, Wed 09:00–19:00, Sat 09:00–19:00. Shifts are scheduled within these windows with 3 weeks' notice.
Customers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Customer Delivery Driver, you will be on the road delivering to customers’ homes from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, combining driving with customer service and help for our customers.
Pay and hours
Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 per hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week; options to work fewer hours (minimum 12) are available.
What you will do
You will be responsible for delivering your part of the customer shopping trip and maintaining a clean, organized vehicle and environment.
* Ensure the van and trays are clean, tidy, and organized.
* Keep the back yard clean and pick up litter as required.
* Wash and maintain trays as part of the tray wash process.
* Load the van and check it is roadworthy.
* Communicate any changes to customer orders, including substitutions, and offer refunds when appropriate.
* Handle products carefully as if they were your own; deliver within the customer’s time slot.
* Inform customers that substitutions will not incur extra charges.
* Call the customer before arriving if running early; call the store if late by 30 minutes or more.

* Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace store changes.
* Be energetic, driven to deliver beyond expectations, and manage work-life balance thoughtfully.
* Share ideas with management to improve the store for customers.
* A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
