Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Buyer at HARRISON ELECTRICAL (LEEDS) LIMITED. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, negotiating contracts with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. The Buyer will also be responsible for reviewing and analyzing purchase requests, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement practices. This role is based in the Greater Leeds Area.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of sourcing and purchasing procedures
* Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships
* Proficiency in maintaining inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of materials
* Ability to review and analyze purchase requests
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
* Experience in the construction industry is a plus
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
