Job Title: Coil Operative
Location: Greenford
Opportunities for potential overtime (up to 15 hrs per week) paid at time and a half.
Working Hours/Shift Pattern:
07:00 -15:30 Monday to Thursday
07:00 -14:30 Friday
Once relocation to the new unit on site is complete, this may change to shifts of either 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm
Type of Employment: 12 weeks temporary contract to go permanent.
Skills needed.
1. Worked in an engineering environment.
2. Able to learn new skills quickly.
3. Knowledge on use of hand and power tools.
4. General mechanical knowledge
5. Knowledge on basic health and safety
6. Knowledge on use of overhead cranes.
Job Duties:
7. Dismantling electric motors using hand tools.
8. Taking all windings out using chisel/hammer operation.
9. Using abrasives to clean out the parts (includes use of angle grinders)
10. Using chemicals to wash motor casing and steam cleaning.
11. Using short blaster to clean all motor parts.
12. Using crane operations for all activities
13. Training provided.
