In this role, you'll
lead a talented Insights team, working closely with blue-chip clients to deliver data-driven stories that fuel decision-making, influence operational change, and generate measurable value. You'll be at the heart of turning complex data into meaningful action, driving analytical capability, and mentoring high-performing analysts.
What You'll Be Doing
Team Leadership & Development
* Lead, coach and inspire a team of analysts to produce best-in-class insights.
* Deliver engaging, insight-led client and internal presentations.
* Provide hands-on mentorship, performance reviews and tailored development plans.
* Maintain a high bar for quality and ensure consistency across all outputs.
Insight & Reporting
* Guide the development of advanced analytical models and reports that integrate multiple data sources.
* Conduct deep-dive analysis (forecasting, regression, ROI, etc.) to support client growth strategies.
* Turn data into compelling visualisations and narratives that support commercial objectives.
* Track and evaluate the performance of field activities and operational interventions.
Client-Facing Influence
* Build and nurture strategic relationships with senior client stakeholders.
* Attend regular business reviews and strategy sessions, offering forward-thinking, data-led recommendations.
* Understand client objectives, pain points and market dynamics to offer tailored insight solutions.
Market & Business Intelligence
* Keep your finger on the pulse of the FMCG and retail landscape—offering informed perspectives to both internal and external teams.
* Bring thought leadership to the table by sharing relevant competitor and category insights.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing insight or analytics teams.
* Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of how data drives strategy.
* Excellent communicator – confident presenting to senior stakeholders and clients.
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills – able to translate data into impactful visuals and decks.
* A strategic thinker who can balance detail with big-picture thinking.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Points For
* Experience working in or with FMCG, retail, or field marketing environments.
* Hands-on experience with Power BI or other data visualisation platforms.
* Background in field team analytics, operational performance or consumer sales insights.
