A CAD Technician is required to join an established, expanding team. Primarily focussed on wireless telecommunications the successful candidate will be responsible for producing drawings that are compliant with both client design guidelines and relevant British standards and regulations. The successful candidates will need to be local to either our Warwick, Gillingham, West Byfleet or Livingston offices as this is a hybrid role, 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.
What you'll do:
Preparing CAD drawings using AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT.
Use of REVIT to produce BIM models (existing buildings).
Producing new drawings based on survey information provided by others.
Amending existing drawings with details of proposed upgrades to existing sites
Checking of drawings produced by others, for compliance with client design requirements
Production of standard and template drawings as part of a library of details/drawings
Potential for attendance at client review meetings to discuss design solutions.
Who you are:
This role would suit an experienced CAD Technician with REVIT who is looking for a fast-paced job in an exciting, technical industry that will prove both challenging and rewarding. If you have experience of working within telecoms, Wireless, civil & structural engineering or mainstream construction design projects using AutoCAD or AutoCAD LT then this could be the next step in your career.
Key Requirements:
Experience with CAD software preferably AutoCAD or similar
Previous experience of using REVIT/ACC.
Attention to detail, clear and accurate planning drawings
Experienced in producing designs that accurately reflect engineering solutions.
Ability to use Microsoft Office software, primarily Outlook, Excel, Word.
