We are looking for a motivated Quality Inspector / Rework Technician to join our team. This role is key in ensuring parts are inspected, reworked, and controlled effectively to maintain quality standards and keep production running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection & Rework
Inspect and rework parts as required.
Manage incoming and outgoing parts on LN.
Complete all associated daily paperwork.
Parts Storage Control
Monitor and control incoming parts to the quality area.
Liaise with SQE Engineers to confirm next actions.
Action stock in line with instructions.
Hotline Support
Handle issues raised by Hotline Team, SQEs, and 3rd arty supplier.
Contain quality issues by liaising with suppliers, engineers, and managers.
Physically sort, contain, or rework stock as required.
Record all work completed with accurate documentation.
Quarantine Management
Raise hold and reject notes for non-conforming parts.
Provide suppliers with detailed explanations, photos, and updates.
Manage discussions with suppliers around liability of rejected parts.
Keep LN system updated with accurate reject data.
Waste Disposal
Oversee parts waste disposal bins and ensure correct documentation.
Liaise with the team to coordinate collection and movements.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in inspection, rework, or quality-related roles.
Strong communication skills, comfortable liaising with suppliers and engineers.
Attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
Confident using IT systems and managing paperwork.
A proactive team player with a hands-on approach.
