We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Roll forming Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machinery, ensuring that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, tooling, and materials handling, as well as the ability to work with precision and accuracy.
Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor Roll forming machinery, including mills, to ensure optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise and on site quality control.
* Employ hand tools effectively where necessary for maintenance tasks.
* Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure dimensionally correct and functionality.
* Perform basic maths calculations for measurements and material requirements.
* Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery.
* Familiarity with tooling techniques and materials handling practices.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
