Role Overview: General Manager, London
We are seeking a General Manager to lead our London operations. As part of Blueground's global leadership team, you will oversee your P&L, manage all business activities, build a high-performing team, and foster relationships with the local real estate industry. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to execute initiatives that promote growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the P&L for Blueground's London business.
2. Scale and develop a top-tier team for real estate and operations.
3. Set city priorities and goals, monitor performance with KPIs, and design incentive structures.
4. Identify new opportunities and adapt the business model to local regulations and market conditions.
5. Stay informed on London real estate trends to refine leasing strategies.
6. Share best practices to improve global operational efficiency.
7. Represent Blueground in London through PR and networking events.
8. Collaborate with Product, Revenue, Sales, Marketing, Technology, and Client Experience teams to meet local market needs.
Qualifications
1. 6+ years in managerial roles, with strong leadership and team management skills.
2. Proactive, results-oriented, with a hands-on approach.
3. Deep understanding of P&L management, budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
4. Strong analytical skills for interpreting data and making decisions.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills.
6. Experience in real estate, particularly in originating, negotiating, and managing deals, is a plus.
