Procurement Executive
Role Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Executive to support our procurement function with data-driven insights, cost analysis, and supplier performance evaluation. This role will play a key part in ensuring effective sourcing decisions, cost efficiency, and supply chain resilience across the business.
Key Responsibilities Of Procurement Executive
* Analyse procurement data to support sourcing decisions and drive cost savings.
* Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as delivery accuracy, lead times, and pricing trends.
* Produce regular and ad hoc reports on procurement activities for internal stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for value creation, cost reduction, and process improvements.
* Collaborate with Procurement Managers and Category Buyers on sourcing strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within procurement and ERP systems.
* Support tender and RFQ processes through data collection and evaluation.
* Track market trends and commodity price fluctuations to inform procurement strategy.
* Assist in the development of dashboards and forecasting tools.
Required Skills & Experience Of Procurement Executive
* Proven experience in a procurement, supply chain, or data analyst role.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and data visualisation tools.
* Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
* Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
* Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices.
* CIPS qualification or working towards.
