Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team efficiency. Weekend availability is essential, as this role includes supervising weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are clean and well-maintained.
* Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality standards are met.
* Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff, including onboarding new team members.
* Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens; report shortages or needs to management.
* Respond promptly to guest requests and ensure excellent customer service.
* Create and manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during weekends and peak periods.
* Monitor and enforce safety and sanitation standards.
* Report maintenance issues to the appropriate department.
* Assist in budget control and cost-effective operations.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality supervision required.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts.
* Knowledge of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
