As Mechanical Design Engineer you will be based at our QHE head office in Coventry. You will design for the global automobile & aircraft sectors, offering best-in-class automated metal surface treatment process lines. A key contributor to the team effort to continue to exceed customer expectations. What will you do? Produce detailed engineering designs and solutions as required in 2D CAD or 3D Inventor ensuring alignment with all stakeholders, focusing on customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Work closely with project management, electrical/software engineering, purchasing, production, sales & R&D in order to achieve a successful project execution. Maintain drawings, technical file structures and systems in accordance with required quality standards. What do we look for? Experience: A minimum of 5 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer or any similar role where mechanical design knowledge and teamwork are key to success. Ideally in an automation, machinery or tool manufacturing environment. IT skills: AUTODESK VAULT / INVENTOR is valued, not a must. Language: English professional level is required. Location: Based in the Coventry area. Soft skills: Proactive with a growth mindset. Good communication skills. Good practical problem solving with acute attention to detail.
