Driver Hire Edinburgh City is recruiting a reliable and professional Class 2 (Cat C) Driver for a well-established timber company based on the east outskirts of Edinburgh. This is a temp-to-perm role, offering consistent weekday work, guaranteed daily hours, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with the client.
🚛 The Role
1. Class 2 (Cat C) deliveries of timber products
2. Local and regional deliveries
3. Manual handling involved
4. Monday to Friday only — no weekends
5. 8 hours guaranteed pay per day
💷 Pay Rates
6. £14.00 per hour PAYE
7. £15.69 per hour PAYE Advanced
(Advanced rate includes rolled-up holiday pay)
✅ Requirements
8. Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence
9. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
10. Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred
11. Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road safety
12. Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach
