About the Role
Join Balfour Beatty as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and play a pivotal role in delivering critical infrastructure that supports Scotland’s energy transition and the UK’s Net Zero ambitions. Based primarily at our Maxim Park office, with opportunities to rotate between site and home, this role offers the flexibility, variety and balance that modern professionals value. As a key member of our Commercial team, you’ll provide expert cost and contract management throughout the full project lifecycle from tendering and negotiation through to delivery and final account. What you’ll be doing
During the project lifecycle you will manage costs, negotiate contracts, monitor progress, prepare final accounts, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure delivery aligns with budget and quality objectives.
Qualifications
* A degree (BSc/MSc) in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
* Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB (or working towards)
* Strong working knowledge of NEC3 & NEC4 contracts
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
