B Sharp, a dynamic music charity for young people, is looking for a volunteer Treasurer/Finance Trustee to join our Board of Trustees to lead on financial matters and help us grow.
Your Role:
As Treasurer/Finance Trustee, you’ll ensure our financial operations and governance are strong while helping drive our future development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting Financial Management: Collaborate with the board, staff, and accountants to support the development of our financial plans, help monitor performance, and assist in securing funding.
* Maintaining Financial Records: Have oversight of our financial records for management, legal requirements, and funder reporting.
* Ensuring Compliance: Oversee legal obligations with Companies House, the Charity Commission, and HMRC.
Your financial expertise will be crucial in helping us expand so we can enable more young people to access the transformative power of music.

What We’re Looking For
* Understanding of (or interest in) charity finance
* Passion for supporting young people and the arts.
* Bonus: Experience as a Company Secretary is a plus!
