What You’ll Be Doing
* Assessing incoming raw materials and packaging against specifications and approved supplier standards
* Communicating out-of-specification materials promptly to minimise operational impact
* Maintaining accurate, real‑time records and identifying anomalies in documentation
* Conducting scheduled and ad‑hoc sampling, reporting results and following corrective actions to closure
* Monitoring and improving KPI performance, supporting investigations and audits
* Participating in internal, customer and group technical audits to ensure compliance with QMS, GMP and HACCP
* Identifying and escalating non‑conformances, recommending improvements and reducing recurring issues
* Managing supplier interactions, ensuring non‑conformances are addressed and root causes resolved
* Investigating customer complaints, maintaining traceability and ensuring corrective actions are implemented
* Promoting health, safety and compliance, reporting hazards and supporting continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
* Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems and raw material assurance within a manufacturing environment
* Confidence conducting audits and applying QMS, GMP and HACCP requirements
* Ability to assess raw materials and packaging against specifications with a high level of accuracy
* Experience managing supplier non-conformances and supporting root cause analysis
* Strong analytical skills to monitor KPIs and identify trends and improvement opportunities
* Clear and confident communication skills when working with internal teams and suppliers
* A hands‑on, practical approach with a strong presence in operational environments
* High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
