Amazing Training Opportunities - We will support you with all the training you need, including NVQ qualifications and further clinical training if you want to specialise in areas like dementia and nutrition As an Sous Chef Chef, you will be required to: Prepare, cook and serve hot and cold meals, as and when required, providing for special dietary requirements and taking into account the preferences and cultures of residents. Liaise with the Head Chef to plan menus. Maintain accurate records of food supplies and freezer/fridge temperatures. Ensure stock rotation. Order stock and check deliveries against all delivery notes and in line with the Food Safety System in place. Supervise and instruct Kitchen colleagues in the use of all equipment and hygiene procedures. Ensure statutory Health & Safety standards are followed in the kitchen and dining areas. You will also be required to: Maintain professional knowledge and competence. Complete mandatory training days and online courses. Essential candidate criteria: Basic Food/Hygiene Certificate.
