Role Overview
Reporting to the TPS Area Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, growing customer loyalty, and delivering excellent customer service. The role involves creating sales strategies, managing stakeholder relationships, and representing the TPS brand effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenues and maintain customer loyalty.
2. Achieve KPIs and revenue targets within the territory.
3. Identify and develop new customer accounts.
4. Support marketing initiatives and monitor campaign effectiveness.
5. Utilize market data to identify sales opportunities.
6. Understand and communicate the unique selling points of TPS products.
7. Manage time effectively to maximize customer interactions.
8. Collaborate with colleagues to leverage customer visits.
Stakeholder Management
1. Update key stakeholders on sales performance.
2. Manage support from business investors and contribute to Business Improvement Plans.
Customer Experience
1. Maintain strong relationships with customers.
2. Provide knowledgeable, responsive, and courteous service reflecting TPS's reputation.
Essential Skills
* Effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience in strategy creation and business development.
* Financial awareness to identify risks and opportunities.
* Experience managing national campaigns.
* Leadership and motivation skills in a B2B or automotive environment.
* Understanding of core processes for centre excellence.
* High IT literacy.
* Minimum GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent.
