To support its expanding performing arts programme, the school is seeking a skilled and reliable Performing Arts Technician. Role Overview The Performing Arts Technician will manage technical support for productions, assemblies, and events. Key responsibilities include: Operating and maintaining lighting and sound equipment Supporting rehearsals and live performances Managing stage setup and dismantling Ensuring health and safety compliance Maintaining technical inventory Assisting students with technical training Troubleshooting technical issues Supporting school-wide events Coordinating backstage logistics Liaising with teaching staff and external contractors Flexibility is required during production periods, including occasional evening work. Performing Arts Team The technician works closely with the Head of Performing Arts and music/drama teachers. The department runs multiple productions annually.
