Job Description
Conference Coordinator at Accor: the key contact for conference clients, ensuring seamless event execution from enquiry to post‑event follow‑up.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome and liaise with clients, ensuring event needs are met with excellence.
* Set meeting rooms and breakout areas to meet client expectations, paying meticulous attention to layout and equipment requirements.
* Support food & beverage service, maintain conference areas, and ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
* Collaborate across departments (catering, housekeeping, technical support) to ensure smooth event delivery.
* Assist Conference Assistant Manager with proposals and quotations for venue, catering, and accommodation.
* Manage event timelines and schedules, ensuring all activities run according to plan.
* Handle last‑minute changes and resolve issues that arise during events with professionalism and efficiency.
* Coordinate and oversee audio‑visual requirements for presentations and workshops.
Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills with a proven track record of client satisfaction.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Exceptional attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
