Job Overview: As a Sous Chef you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our kitchen. You will work alongside our Head Chef to deliver exceptional dishes, maintain high standards, and lead a team of dedicated chefs. We're looking for someone with a love for fresh, seasonal ingredients, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is ready to inspire others.
Assist the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and consistency.
Contribute to menu development with creative and seasonal dishes.
Lead and mentor the kitchen team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet our high standards.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised kitchen, complying with all health and safety regulations.
Assist with ordering, inventory management, and food cost control.
Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a Senior Chef de Partie ready to take the next step.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for working with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain composure in a busy kitchen.
