About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Salisbury starting in September 2025. In this full-time role, you will work alongside a skilled team of teachers and support staff to help pupils with additional needs—including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD—reach their full potential.

Staff collaboration is a key part of the school culture, and the team takes pride in offering both strong academic teaching and emotional support to every learner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in-class support to students with SEN, both in 1:1 and small group settings
* Work with teachers to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons
* Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Assist with student behaviour and emotional regulation
* Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Monitor and report on student progress to the teaching team and parents
* Take part in planning and delivering extracurricular or enrichment activities
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting (preferred)
* A caring, patient, and adaptable nature
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine interest in supporting young people with diverse learning needs
* Any relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN are welcome but not essential
