GSL Education are currently seeking confident and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a day-to-day basis in schools in Armthorpe. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), This is a great opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to take on a new challenge. As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Supervising pupils in the absence of a classroom teacher. Delivering pre-set work and ensuring students stay on task. Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Providing assistance to students where necessary. Reporting back to the relevant teacher on student progress and behaviour. To be a Cover Supervisor, candidate will require: Have previous experience working with secondary-aged students (11–16), ideally in a school setting. Possess excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. Be confident, flexible, and able to adapt quickly to new environments. Have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. Hold a valid Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one. Provide a full, 10-year career history with all employment gaps explained.
