What you will do:
* Assess the needs of children and families and complete risk assessments to determine the appropriate course of action.
* Develop and implement care plans that provide safety and support to children within the protection system.
* Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure a child’s safety and wellbeing.
* Attend court and write comprehensive reports, providing testimony when required.
* Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings to share crucial information and updates.
* Offer emotional support and guidance to children and their families during challenging times.
This position is specifically open to experienced Child Protection Social Workers to cover for a team member taking time off due to a bereavement. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring continuity of care and support during this period.
